At New Zealand (NZ) Mental Quest, I believe that mental health support is much like embarking on a hero’s journey—one that is filled with challenges, growth, and transformation. Just as the hero sets out on a task that becomes a journey, you may face obstacles that test you. But as the Hero goes about their journey they accompany allies, mentors and a community. And ultimeartly on the road back they become a more improved version of themselves.

I’m here to be a guide, just as the mentor helps the hero discover their potential and navigate through their trials. Together, we’ll explore the path of self-discovery, healing, and personal growth. Whether you’re confronting difficult emotions, seeking clarity, or striving for positive change, your journey towards mental well-being is unique, a Mental Quest of yours.

I like to use the Hero's Journey or Monomyth analogy as it applies to a number facets to our life. Throughout pop culture, be it novels, movies, video games, tv series and so on, the Hero's Journey template is often used. It provides a universal and relatable narrative structure that taps into deep human experiences of personal growth, overcoming challenges, and transformation.
